Functions and Applications

Glucose Syrup most widely distributed in nature and most importantly a monosaccharide, 

which is a polyhydroxy aldehyde. Pure glucose as colorless crystals, sweet but not as good as the

 sweetness of sucrose (ordinary people can not taste the sweetness), soluble in water, slightly 

soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether. Optical solution right, it is also known as "dextrose." Dextrose 

important in the biology field, is a source of energy metabolism of living cells and intermediates, 

namely the primary energy supply biological substances. Plants can produce glucose through 

photosynthesis. In candy manufacturing and pharmaceutical fields have a wide application.
